100 Women – 100 Digital Opportunities

Éducation numérique pour les femmes en Afrique subsaharienne (y compris la Guinée)

March is recognized worldwide as Women’s Month. Around March 8 – International Women’s Day – we want to seize this opportunity to take concrete action: more training, more opportunities, and a more digital future for women.

With the initiative “100 Women – 100 Digital Opportunities,” we are raising funds to provide women and young girls in Guinea with access to essential digital skills.

Digital skills are now crucial for education, employment, and economic participation. Yet many women in sub‑Saharan Africa still lack access to adequate training. Our project aims precisely to bridge this gap.

Launch of the Fundraising Campaign

The fundraising campaign runs until April 15.
A contribution of €150 allows one participant to complete the entire digital training program.
Every donation helps open new perspectives for women.

Our Objective

We aim to provide 100 women in Guinea with hands‑on training leading to the “Permis Pc”, enabling them to acquire essential digital skills — from basic computer and Internet use to the key applications needed for studies, employment, and entrepreneurship.
The participants are divided into two groups
  • 50 schoolgirls and university students who wish to develop digital skills early. .
  • 50 graduates and job‑seeking womenwho want to strengthen their qualifications and improve their professional prospects.

Start of the Training

The training will be organized in cohorts to ensure intensive and personalized support.

  • Start of the first session: May 4
  • First phase: two cohorts
  • Participants per cohort: approximately 25 women

In the following months, additional cohorts will be set up until 100 women have completed the program and gained the essential digital skills they need for their future.

Partnership

The project is built on the collaboration of three complementary partners who bring together their expertise to ensure its success:

  • AGA e.V. – A non-profit organization of the Guinean diaspora based in Neuwied/Rheinbrohl (VR 21527). It is responsible for managing donations and issuing tax‑deductible receipts.
  • Chancen ohne Grenzen – A non-profit association based in Koblenz, specializing in education, international cooperation, and project coordination.
  • TechnoSœurs Initiative – An educational initiative that organizes and delivers the training, as well as the support for participants, directly on the ground in Guinea.

Livestream

Because our project promotes access to digital skills, we also want to offer our supporters a digital way to follow its progress.

This is why key moments of the training — such as the launch of the cohorts or the closing ceremonies — will be broadcast via livestream. Interested viewers will be able to see the project unfold in real time and witness the tangible impact of their support.

These livestreams are offered on a voluntary basis and aim above all to ensure three things: transparency, connection, and a vivid insight into how digital education is taking shape on the ground.
