100 Women – 100 Digital Opportunities Digital

Education for Women in Sub-Saharan Africa (including Guinea)

March puts women in the spotlight around the world. On the occasion of March 8th – International Women’s Rights Day – we want to turn this celebration into concrete action: offering more education, more opportunities, and a real digital future for women.

With the “100 Women – 100 Digital Opportunities” initiative, we are collecting donations to enable women and girls in Guinea to acquire essential digital skills.

Today, digital literacy is essential for learning, working, and fully participating in economic life. Yet many women in Sub-Saharan Africa are still deprived of this training. Our project aims to bridge this gap and open new horizons.

Launch of the Donation Campaign

Our campaign is officially launched and will run until April 15th.

With €150, one participant can complete a full digital training program and acquire the essential skills for her future.

Every contribution, no matter the size, opens new perspectives for women and allows them to fully take part in the digital world.

Our Goal

We want to offer 100 women in Guinea a practical training program leading to the “Permis-PC” (digital literacy certificate), so they can acquire essential digital skills: from using computers and the internet to the key applications needed for education, work, and entrepreneurship.

Participants are divided into two groups:

50

students

who want to develop their digital skills early

50

graduates and job-seeking wom

who want to strengthen their qualifications and improve their professional prospects.

Training Start Date

The training will be organized in cohorts to ensure intensive and personalized support..

  • Start of the first session : May 4th
  • First phase: two cohorts
  • Number of participants per cohort:approximately 25 women

In the following months, additional cohorts will be set up until 100 women have completed the program and acquired the essential digital skills for their future..

Partnership

The project is built on the cooperation of three complementary partners, who combine their expertise to ensure its success:

  • AGA e.V. – a non-profit association of the Guinean diaspora, based in Neuwied/Rheinbrohl (VR 21527). It manages donations and issues tax receipts.
  • Chancen ohne Grenzen – a non-profit association based in Koblenz, specializing in education, international cooperation, and project coordination.
  • TechnoSœurs Initiative –an educational initiative that organizes and implements the training and support of participants directly on the ground in Guinea.

Livestream

Because our project promotes access to digital skills, we also want to offer our supporters a digital way to follow its progress.

That is why key moments of the training — such as the launch of cohorts or closing ceremonies — will be broadcast live. Interested people will be able to watch the project unfold in real time and see firsthand the concrete impact of their support.

These broadcasts are offered on a voluntary basis and aim above all to guarantee three things: transparency, closeness, and a living glimpse of how digital education is taking shape on the ground.
