Three young women took part in a coaching programme launched by the Rise and Shine project, an initiative
supported by the TechnoSœurs programme. Over several weeks, they received personalised online support designed to strengthen their professional skills and self-confidence. For several weeks, the participants followed a
structured programme, alternating between individual sessions and group workshops. The topics covered ranged from time management to business communication, including the organisation of daily tasks and leadership development. Each session was led by an experienced coach, who focused on practical exercises, case studies and
simulations of real-life business situations
For TechnoSœurs, this programme is part of a broader initiative to support young women in their professional careers and reduce persistent inequalities in access to training and promotion within companies. ‘We want to show that personalised support can transform not only careers, but entire lives,’ emphasises our Shine & Rise project manager.
Building on the success of this first edition, TechnoSœurs plans to expand the Shine & Rise programme to other
young women in the coming months, with additional sessions in Guinea and other countries in the sub-region.
The ambition is to train a new generation of women leaders who are capable of innovating and actively contributing to the country’s economic and social development.
