TechnoSœurs was born out of an obvious yet often overlooked observation: digital technology is shaping the future, but it still leaves millions of women behind, particularly in Africa. According to UNESCO, nearly 250 million children and young people worldwide still do not have access to basic education. In sub-Saharan Africa, women are 30% less likely than men to have access to the internet. In a connected world, this digital divide is becoming a new form of inequality.
Faced with this urgent need, TechnoSœurs, created by Béatrice Kaba and her team, was born out of a deep conviction: to train, connect and reveal female potential through digital technology. Our programme is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: to ensure quality education, promote gender equality, facilitate access to decent work and encourage inclusive innovation.
Today, TechnoSœurs has set itself the mission of supporting women and girls from all walks of life to become agents of digital transformation, create their own opportunities and pass on their knowledge.
